Much has been happening in the land of LEGEND.
Sadly Kerry Parker has had to retire from her role as lead vocalist, due to health and family / work commitments. Whilst we are very sad to see her depart we wish her all the best for the future. Kerry has still contributed a significant part of the lyrics for the new album.
However do not despair! With the kind help from the folks at AiiRadio, Friday Night Progressive and Steve Palmer we managed to discover the wonderful Beck Sian who is stepping into Kerry’s shoes to bring yet another wonderful dimension to LEGEND’s sound. Lead vocals on the new album are being recorded as we speak!
Beck has an already acclaimed solo career with three excellent albums that we are sure will be of great interest to LEGEND fans.

At long last we can reveal details of our forthcoming album ‘Spirit’
It marks a new chapter in LEGEND’s journey seeing not only new Vocalist Beck Sian taking the helm but also the very welcome return of Paul Thomson on Guitars.
The album contains five tracks of LEGEND’s unique blend of Prog that combine influences as diverse as Folk, World, New Age and Metal in a spellbinding tapestry of words and music.
This time LEGEND are exploring the harder side of Progressive Rock, perhaps even foraying into the realms of Symphonic Metal.
The album cover is the work of renowned artist Josephine Wall indeed it is the image that inspired much of the music so it is wonderful that Josephine has kindly allowed us to use it. LEGEND are really proud to be featuring in Greenmantle Magazine’s 20th anniversary edition which is out in May. It includes an interview with Steve Paine and the cover CD ‘Alchemical Wedding’ features 4 songs from LEGEND including a sneak preview track from the new album Spirit. Yes LEGEND will be playing at least one live show this year as part of the very splendid GREENMANTLE Magazine’s 20th Anniversary on June 21st 2013 in Brighton.
